Filming, Photography, and Recorded Media
We consider filming, photography, and recorded media requests on a case-by-case basis.
Visitors are welcome to take personal-use-only photographs and short phone clips during a paid public visit, subject to our visitor terms and the directions of staff. This does not include the use of tripods, lighting, microphones, presenter-led filming, drones, filming other visitors or staff, or any commercial, monetised, promotional or organised shoot.
Boleskine House is a charitable heritage asset. Professional, organised, commercial, monetised, sponsored, broadcasted, and creator and promotional filming must be approved in advance and will usually be subject to a location fee. This includes creator content and podcasts for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and similar online channels and influencer platforms.
If you wish to undertake commercial film or photography at Boleskine House, please contact us in advance.
