Sponsorship

Sponsor Us

Become part of history and help restore an iconic landmark. You can play a direct role in this journey by sponsoring part of the fabric of Boleskine House, leaving your mark on this extraordinary building for generations to come.

Sponsorships are treated as one-off donations and will include an official ticket of gratitude from our organisation and you can opt for your name to be included in our archives in the house once the restoration is completed. If you are a UK tax-resident, you may also claim Gift Aid, which will allow us to claim an additional 25% of your donation.

Sponsor a Stone

Our conservation stonemasons have installed over 30 tonnes of newly sourced, dressed and hand-chiseled Whittonfell sandstone into Boleskine House since 2020. This stone sits alongside stonework that is hundreds of years old and masterfully blended in to match with the building. Hundreds of stonemason hours have been put into Boleskine House, including many valuable apprentice-training hours that has helped to preserve these important heritage skills for the next generation of stonemasonry! We are inviting interested parties to sponsor these iconic stones and to be part of the legacy of the Boleskine House restoration!

Sponsor a Slate

Ballachulish slate is the traditional roofing slate used on Scottish buildings in the Highlands. Ballachulish slate has a rough, chunky and undulated texture which makes it a very suitable material to withstand the Highland weather for centuries. All Ballachulish slate is now second-hand with the mines closing down long ago from where it was sourced (in Ballachulish where its name derives). Our roof slates have been sourced from all over the Highlands. More than 50,000 reclaimed Ballachulish slates have been installed on the new roof of Boleskine House, each weighing an average of 1.5 Kilograms. You can do the math on how heavy our roof now is! You can be part of history by sponsoring one of our slates!
