We are very pleased to confirm that Boleskine House has now received Building Control sign-off and has formally achieved practical completion under our contract with Simpson Builders.
This marks a major milestone in the restoration of this B-listed building following several years of complex and carefully managed conservation and rebuilding works. Practical completion confirms that the building is now complete in accordance with statutory requirements and contractual standards, allowing us to move fully into the final fit-out and commissioning phase.

We are now progressing with furniture installation throughout the house, alongside the final stages of the bespoke heritage panelling being completed by Distinctive Country Furniture. These works will bring the interiors to completion, reinstating the character and craftsmanship that define Boleskine House while preparing the building for public access.

We would like to thank our professional team, contractors, funders and supporters for their continued commitment in bringing this landmark project to this important stage.
Further updates will follow as we move towards opening the building to visitors.
